Regional Writing Awards

 

The Regional Writing Awards seek to encourage and recognize excellence in creative writing in the Wayne College region.

Up to three awards in each category
Poetry
1st - $100.00
2nd - $75.00
3rd - $50.00

Short Story
1st - $100.00
2nd - $75.00
3rd - $50.00

Nonfiction
1st - $100.00
2nd - $75.00
3rd - $50.00

There are three cash prizes possible in each category and at each level:
$100 for first place,
$75 for second place, and $50 for third. ($5.00 entry fee per category)

Entrants must be eighteen years of age or older.
*Wayne College employees and their immediate families are not eligible to submit to the Wayne College Regional Writing Awards.

Winners will be announced March 2008, and awards presented at a ceremony on April 12, 2008.
