GUEST (TRANSIENT) STUDENTS

Students enrolled at another institution who wish to attend The University of Akron Wayne College courses under guest status

As a guest (transient) student at Wayne College, you should receive written permission from your home institution for the coursework for which you plan to enroll. If you are currently on dismissal from your home institution, you will not be permitted to attend Wayne College as a transient student.

Guest Students

If you are applying as a Guest student, you can apply online, the $30 application fee is waived.

If you attend Wayne College as a transient student and then decide to transfer permanently to Wayne College, you will need to fill out a new application and submit an official transcript from your home institution and any others you attended. Transferring to UA will make you subject to University submission policies. Transfer admission is not guaranteed to students who previously attended under the transient student status.
