Biography:
Employed at Wayne College since 2005, Alan is in charge
of Wayne College's
Web site. He designs and scripts interactive,
dynamic pages used to promote Wayne College to
prospective students and to keep current
students / faculty / staff well informed
of current & future events. The site provides 24/7 access
to a wealth of information about all aspects of
Wayne College and why “The
Students Come First!”. Alan also provides creative
assistance for departments desiring a page on the Web site,
while incorporating
video, audio and forms into the pages as needed. He is also
in charge of administrating Waynemail,
Wayne College's electronic newsletter.
In addition to the College Web site, Alan also maintains the Growing Healthy Habits and the Orrville Area United Way Web sites. Outside of the University, he stays sharp and acquires different design perspectives by maintaining business sites such as www.dynamitebuys.com and gasgrills.dynamitebuys.com. He even won a National Award for a fraternity with his creative online efforts.
Competitive and athletic at heart, Alan enjoys playing just about all sports; particularly Tennis, Racquetball, Volleyball, Golf, Softball, and Table Tennis. Also a former roller coaster enthusiast, he tries to visit at least a couple big amusement parks every season, time permitting.
