| Biography:
Cindy is a native Wayne County girl, born in Dalton and living
there until the middle of her freshman year in high school. She returned to Dalton in 1996, after spending time in various areas of North Carolina. Professionally Cindy has been a disc jockey, a blood donor recruiter and an executive secretary for an appraisal company.
Cindy began her Wayne College career in May of 2000. Her chief duties are marketing the college in various ways: traditional advertising in newspapers, radio, billboards, etc.; campus events for the community; publications and direct mail pieces; and community interaction. She also supervises the web editor.
Cindy and her husband, Brian, live in Orrville just two miles from campus. She has two grown step-children and a miniature Schnauzer named Zechariah. If you hear whimpering in the building, check Cindy's office, she has been known to sneak Zech in for a visit.
Cindy is a member of the Board of Main Street Orrville, member of the steering committee for Leadership Wooster and vice-chair of Orrville's Design Review Board. She was previously on the Orrville Area United Way Board and has been active on the United Way Citizen Review Committee.
