Veterans Day Presentation by Captain Daniel Lutz November 10, 2009 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Community Room Reception to follow Biography of Captain Daniel Lutz After graduating with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1987, Captain (then Lieutenant) Lutz served four years active duty in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps of the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1991. Upon leaving active duty, Captain Lutz served as an Assistant Wayne County Public Defendant and Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor. Captain Lutz currently is a partner with the law firm of Kropf, Wagner, Lutz, & VanSickle, LLP in Orrville where he has worked since 1996, and he also currently serves as Law Director for the City of Orrville. Captain Lutz continues to serve his country in the reserve component of the U.S. Navy. He is commanding officer of Regional Legal Service Office Midwest, a Navy Reserve JAG unit out of Great Lakes, Illinois. He is also a certified General Court-Martial Military Judge and, in his reserve capacity, will take the bench as an appellate judge on the Navy & Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals in December 2009.
