Continuing Education Computer classes:
Beginning Word. This introductory class will help you learn how to create, save, edit, and print documents; move and copy text, format
paragraphs and documents; use fonts and proofing features; and find and

Word Intermediate. This class expands your knowledge of Microsoft Word and covers
how to use templates, create letters, address envelopes and labels, and use headers
and footers. Working with tables and columns makes this one of our most
popular classes. This class will be held on Tuesday, June 24, from 9 am to 4 pm.

Excel Beginning. Get started by learning how to create, modify, format and print
worksheets and work with basic formulas and functions. You will also see how to use
and enhance multiple worksheets. This class will be held on June 26, from 9 am to 4 pm.

HCHEC/Holmes County Senior Series: Practical Spanish in Action, an account of one
person's medical mission trip to Honduras and how Spanish can be applied to daily life.
Instructed by Robin Hauenstein. This class will be held at the Holmes County Senior
Center on Tuesdays, June 3.10, 17, and 24 from 1 to 2:30 pm.
Ballroom Dancing, instructed by Jerry and Helen Craycraft. This class will be held at
the Holmes County Senior Center on Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 1 to 2:30 pm.

Ethics and Compliance Training Programs: Discipline and Termination, presented by
Kimberly Schlue. Are your managers prepared to handle employee discipline and
termination legally and effectively? This program's plain-speak language and
practical examples explain the steps necessary to prevent litigation. This class will
be held at the Holmes County Higher Education Center on Wednesday, June 25,

Advanced Leadership Series; Designing and Enhancing a Plan presented by Al
Plastow. This class focuses on using current industry success factors to reverse
the trend of project failures. This class will be held on June 3 from 8 am to 5 pm.
Problem Analysis presented by Arnie Ziroli, you will explore tools that can enhance
your success in problem solving; and Work Breakdown Structure presented by
Al Plastow, this class will enable you to craft a more precise framework for project
success. These 2 classes will be held on June 10 from 8 am to 5 pm.
All Advanced Leadership classes will be held at the Holmes County Higher Education

Bookkeeping Boot Camp will be held at the Holmes County Higher Education Center,
on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 3 through July 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. This class
will cover the concepts and procedures you'll need to gain an entry level position as a

LEGO Engineering Camps for children presented by All About Learning, Inc.
will be held at the Holmes County Higher Education Center the weeks of June 16-20
and 23-27. Classes offered will be Jr. LEGO Engineering for ages 5-8; LEGO Vehicles
for ages 9-12; Jr. LEGO vehicles for ages 5-8; and Battle Bots using LEGO for ages
