  1. Plug in external mouse (if desired)
  2. Plug in power cord
  3. Press Power button on Laptop
  4. Wait for Laptop to Power ON

If Laptop is connected to a projection unit, the following keystroke sends the image to the projector:

  • IBM ThinkPad - FN key and F7
If the Laptop does not power down after pressing the power button:
  1. Unplug the power cord from the Laptop
  2. Locate the battery release and pull the battery from the machine
  3. Verify the Laptop is not off
  4. Replace the battery after a few seconds
