Setup
Place the projector in proximity to the laptop and consider the presenter's
needs in doing so. Extension cords may be necessary to position the projector
in the optimum location for the room, class, and presenter.
- Remove
the projector from case and place in appropriate area
- Remove
the lens cap from the projector
- Attach
power cord to projector and to power source
- Attach
Cable-Wizard cable to the 1st connection point on the left-side
of the projector (cable is clearly marked), the other end attaches
to the back or side of the laptop
- Connect
the audio speaker cable (either end) into the laptop speaker
jack and the other end into the Cable- Wizard cable hub
- Connect
the mouse cable (to laptop end) into the laptop mouse port and
the other end into the Cable-Wizard cable hub
- Power
on the projector with the power button on the top of the projector
or the power button on the remote control
- Connect
the AC Adapter to the laptop and to the power source
- Power
on the Laptop by pressing the power button on the keyboard area
of the laptop
- Focus
the picture as necessary by turning the 'Focus Ring' for picture
clarity
- Send
picture form the laptop to the projector with the appropriate
keystroke from the list below
- 'Fn'
key and F3 (Gateway)
- 'Fn'
key and F12 (Micron)
- 'Fn'
key and F8 (Dell 3200)
- 'Fn" key
and F7 (IBM ThinkPad)
This
keystroke may be repeated to toggle the signal
If the
color of the projected image is too green, the Cable-Wizard cable
is not connected to the projector properly (Disconnect then reconnect
the cable).
